Ronald W. Orso, M.D., F.C.O.G., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Orso is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Orso is also a past President of the Jefferson County Medical society. He is a retired Colonel in the Alabama National Guard and served in Saudi Arabia in Operation Desert Storm.
Dr. Orso is married with three children, and five grandchildren, who are the love of his life.

L. Jeffers Fowlkes, M.D., F.C.O.G.
Dr. Fowlkes is a Birmingham native, graduating from Mountain Brook High School in 1968. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 1971 and from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine in 1975. He then moved to Gainesville, Florida, where he received his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida. He was the recipient of the Hugh Hill Award for being the outstanding resident in 1978 and 1979. Presently he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and a past Departmental Chief of OB/GYN for Baptist Medical Center - Montclair.
Dr. Fowlkes is married with five children and one grandchild. His hobbies include golf, travel, and reading.

Dean A. Veren, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Veren is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He performed his residency at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee and has been in private practice at St. Vincent's Hospital for the past 25 years. He is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 1999, Dr. Veren retired from Obstetrics. Since that time, he has concentrated on Urogynecology and performs numerous surgeries and procedures for stress incontinence and vaginal reconstruction.
Married with three children and four grandchildren. Dr. Veren enjoys hunting, fishing, and sporting events.

David S. McKee, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. McKee is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Cum Laude. There he completed his medical school training and Obstetrics and Gynecology residency. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In 2005, he served as President of the medical staff at St. Vincent's Hospital. He is also a member of the Jefferson County Medical Society, where he was President in 2007. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Department OB/GYN at St. Vincent's Hospital.
He and his wife, Mary Evelyn, have three sons. He enjoys swimming, hiking, and all outdoor activities. He is an active member of Cathedral Church of the Advent.

David B. Damrich, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Damrich is a Cum Laude graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee with a major in General Biology and minors in Chemistry and Mathematics. He subsequently graduated from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He joined Birmingham OB/GYN in 1997 after completing his residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
A Mobile native, Dr. Damrich is married with three children and two stepchildren. His interests include golf, travel, and sports involving his children.

Michele M. Christine, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Christine is a native of Atlanta, Georgia and attended Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology. Dr. Christine received a Doctorate of Medicine degree from Emory University and completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her last year, she served as Chief Resident and was recognized as the Best Teaching Resident in 1996.
Dr. Christine is married with four children, the youngest of which is adopted from Russia.

Ashley D. Przybysz, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Przybysz is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She is also a graduate of the University of Alabama, Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Dr. Przybysz is married with two daughters and enjoys spending time with her children, as well as cooking and gardening.

Christy Heath, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Heath is a graduate of Duke University. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency. She is currently a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Heath is married with two children and is originally from Andalusia, Alabama. She is a Sunday school teacher and enjoys skiing, reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Sarah C. Davis, M.D., F.A.C.O.G.
Dr. Davis grew up in Birmingham, graduating from The Altamont School. She did her undergraduate work at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She completed her medical degree and residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist.
Dr. Davis is married with three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, playing piano, and jogging.
