Trussville Women’s Health Center | Birmingham OB/Gyn

Expanded location will bring comprehensive women’s healthcare—including screening mammography, ultrasound, laboratory services, and expanded obstetrical care—closer to home for women across eastern Jefferson, St. Clair, and Blount Counties.

We’re proud to announce the future Birmingham OB/Gyn – Trussville Women’s Health Center, a major expansion of our commitment to providing convenient, comprehensive women’s healthcare throughout eastern Jefferson County, St. Clair County, and Blount County.

For nearly ten years, Birmingham OB/Gyn has served patients in the Trussville community. As more women and families have chosen our physicians for their care, we’ve recognized the need to expand both our availability and the services we provide closer to where our patients live.

The new Trussville Women’s Health Center represents that commitment.

Why We’re Expanding

This project isn’t simply about opening a larger office.

It’s about making it easier for women to receive comprehensive healthcare closer to home.

Our patients have shown us through their travel patterns that they value having access to trusted physicians and advanced women’s healthcare services without traveling across the Birmingham metropolitan area.

As one of Alabama’s fastest-growing regions, eastern Jefferson County and neighboring St. Clair and Blount Counties continue to experience tremendous residential growth. The Trussville Women’s Health Center is being developed to meet that growing demand while improving access to care for both current and future patients.

A Full-Service Women’s Health Center

Our current Trussville office has allowed Birmingham OB/Gyn to establish a strong presence in the community. The new Trussville Women’s Health Center will build upon that foundation by expanding from a limited clinic schedule to a full-time regional women’s healthcare destination.

The new center is expected to offer appointments:

Monday – Thursday
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Friday
8:00 a.m. – Noon

Patients will continue to receive the compassionate, physician-led care Birmingham OB/Gyn is known for while enjoying expanded access to diagnostic and preventive services in one convenient location.

New Services Coming to Trussville

The Trussville Women’s Health Center will significantly expand the services available in our Trussville location.

  • Preventive healthcare

Advanced Imaging

  • 3D Screening Mammography

Additional Patient Services

By bringing these services together under one roof, many women will have the opportunity to complete multiple recommended healthcare services during a single visit.

Expanding Breast Health Through Partnership

A cornerstone of the new Trussville Women’s Health Center will be the addition of 3D screening mammography, made possible through Birmingham OB/Gyn’s partnership with Onsite Women’s Health.

Together, Birmingham OB/Gyn and Onsite Women’s Health are expanding convenient access to advanced breast imaging while helping encourage routine breast cancer screening and increasing awareness of women’s cardiovascular health.
