Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death among women, exceeded only by lung cancer. One in eight women will develop breast cancer sometime in her lifetime. Early detection is the key to survival. 3D mammography has been shown to improve detection of invasive cancers by 41 percent over conventional 2D mammography and reduce unnecessary callbacks and follow-up tests by 40 percent. The exam benefits all women, including those with dense breasts.
